Account and Data Deletion

Official Account & Data Deletion Request Page for My Day

At My Day (also known as My Notes), we respect your privacy and provide you with full control over your personal data. In compliance with Google Play's User Data policy, this page provides complete instructions on how to request the deletion of your account and all associated data.

1. How to Delete Your Account (In-App)

You can instantly delete your account and all associated cloud and local data directly within the mobile application:

  1. Open the My Day app on your device.
  2. Ensure you are logged in to the account you wish to delete.
  3. Navigate to the Accounts / Settings tab from the bottom navigation bar.
  4. Scroll down to the Account Management section.
  5. Tap on Delete Account (highlighted in red).
  6. Review the warning dialog and tap Confirm Delete to permanently remove your account and all data.

2. How to Request Account Deletion Without the App (Web / Email)

If you have uninstalled the app or are unable to access your device, you can submit an account deletion request via email:

  1. Send an email to our support team with the subject line: Account Deletion Request - My Day
  2. Send the request from the same email address associated with your My Day account.
  3. Include your full name and account details if applicable.
  4. Our team will verify your identity and process the complete deletion of your account and data within 30 days.

3. Types of Data Deleted vs. Kept

Data Category Status Details
User Profile Permanently Deleted Name, email address, profile picture URL, and unique User ID (UID).
Notes & Attachments Permanently Deleted All notes, titles, body content, labels, archived notes, and trash items.
Financial Data Permanently Deleted Income records, expense items, digital subscriptions, EMI calculations, and transaction records.
Tasks & Reminders Permanently Deleted Calendar events, task checklists, scheduled notification triggers, and trip management data.
Cloud & Local Cache Permanently Deleted Cloud Firestore remote database documents, local database caches, and FCM device tokens.
